Stores & Warehousing Person

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on store person who takes pride in keeping stores tight, organised and running smoothly so the workshop can do its job without delays.

About the Role

This is a practical, on-your-feet stores role supporting a busy trade workshop. You’ll be responsible for receiving, issuing, picking, packing and tracking stock, coordinating deliveries, and keeping the store clean, safe and organised.
It’s not a desk job — accuracy, follow-through and physical work are part of the deal.

Key Responsibilities

●    receive and check incoming stock
●    kit, issue, pick, pack and dispatch parts to the workshop
●    maintain accurate stock levels and flag shortages early
●    coordinate deliveries and collections using company vehicles
●    complete basic data entry and maintain store records
●    keep store areas, benches, tools and equipment clean and organised
●    work closely with workshop, purchasing and operations teams

What We’re Looking For

You’ll suit this role if you are:

●    reliable, self-motivated and hands-on
●    organised and detail-focused
●    a clear communicator with a practical mindset
●    comfortable solving day-to-day problems
●    physically capable (lifting up to ~20kg)
●    willing to learn systems and processes

Licences & Experience

Essential
●    current manual driver’s licence
●    basic computer skills (training provided)

Preferred
●    forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
●    experience in stores, warehouse or trade-based environments

Pay & Conditions

●    $26–$35 per hour + super, depending on experience and licences
●    full-time, 40 hours per week
●    stable, long-term role
(the right candidate with strong trade or stores experience will be paid at the upper end)

What You’ll Get

●    secure, full-time employment in a well-established local business
●    clear expectations and structured workflows — no chaos
●    support from experienced managers who value doing things properly
●    a role where organisation and reliability genuinely matter
●    on-the-job training and long-term opportunity
